Andy Dougan’s career in marketing communications began in 1996 when he realised that being a member of a touring rock band, was likely to be a short-lived career and was drawn towards the creative nature of the agency world.
An exceptional leader with over 15 years experience delivering effective brand experiences and marcomms solutions. Passionate about the convergence of creativity, data, tech & innovation to deliver experiences that drive growth.
Since then he has focused on creating & delivering brand experiences for some of the world’s leading brands including: Diageo, Huawei, Jaguar Land Rover, Jumeirah, Rolls Royce, Amex, Emirates, PepsiCo, Shell, TJX & Microsoft.
In June 2016, he returned to join Geometry Global flagship agency of WPP’s global brand activation network, as Head of Experiences and a Global Business Partner.
Most recently Andy took up the role as CEO for Flex, a creative, content & technology agency along with being a Managing Partner @ helperstreet, a new virtual consultancy network.
A seasoned events practitioner, Andy is continually excited about the role brands have and the value they bring in an ever increasingly experience led, digitally enabled world. And their potential to not only leverage but also influence culture.
Andy is a board member of Elevate (The mentoring programme for the events and experiential industry) and a Trustee for Action for M.E.
